At SBros Tech Pvt Ltd, we are committed to providing high-quality educational services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds and cancellations are processed.


1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation Before Course Starts (7+ Days)

✅ Cancellation Window: 7 or more days before course start date

✅ Refund Amount: 100% of course fee (minus payment gateway charges of ~2-3%)

✅ Processing Time: 7-10 business days

✅ How to Cancel: Email refunds@sbrostech.com with your details

1.2 Cancellation Within 7 Days Before Course Starts

⚠️ Cancellation Window: 1-7 days before course start date

⚠️ Refund Amount: 50% of course fee

⚠️ Processing Time: 7-10 business days

⚠️ Reason: Course preparations and seat allocation already done

1.3 Cancellation After Course Starts

❌ Cancellation Window: After course commencement (Day 1 or later)

❌ Refund Amount: No refund

❌ Reason: Course materials and resources have been provided and accessed

❌ Exception: Course transfer may be possible (see Section 5)

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Situations Eligible for Full or Partial Refund

  • ✅ Cancellation request made within the specified time windows (Section 1)
  • ✅ Technical issues from our end preventing course access (verified and unresolved within 48 hours)
  • ✅ Course cancelled or significantly rescheduled by SBros Tech Pvt Ltd
  • ✅ Duplicate payment made by error (full refund of duplicate amount)
  • ✅ Payment made but course access not provided within 48 hours (despite follow-up)
  • ✅ Course content significantly different from description (verified)

2.2 Situations NOT Eligible for Refund

  • ❌ Request made after course has started (unless in Section 2.1)
  • ❌ Change of mind after accessing course materials
  • ❌ Inability to attend due to personal reasons (illness, travel, work commitments)
  • ❌ Failure to meet course prerequisites (student's responsibility to verify)
  • ❌ Technical issues from student's end (internet connectivity, device compatibility, etc.)
  • ❌ Account sharing or violation of terms of service
  • ❌ Course completed or certificate already issued
  • ❌ Dissatisfaction with course difficulty level or teaching style (after accessing content)
  • ❌ Failure to attend live sessions (for recorded content available courses)

3. Refund Process

3.1 How to Request a Refund

STEP 1: Send Email to Refunds Department

STEP 2: Include Following Information

  • Full Name (as registered)
  • Registered Email Address
  • Course Name
  • Payment Transaction ID / Razorpay Order ID
  • Date of Payment
  • Reason for Refund Request
  • Bank Account Details (for refund credit)

STEP 3: Wait for Confirmation

We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days

STEP 4: Refund Processing

If approved, refund will be initiated within 5-7 business days

3.2 Refund Timeline

3.3 Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase:

  • UPI/Net Banking: Refunded to source bank account
  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card
  • Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): Refunded to wallet

Note: We cannot process refunds to different accounts or payment methods.

4. Special Circumstances

4.1 Course Cancellation by SBros Tech

If we cancel or significantly reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • ✅ You will receive 100% full refund (no deductions)
  • ✅ OR option to transfer to another batch of the same course (no additional charge)
  • ✅ OR option to transfer to a different course of equal or lesser value
  • ✅ Refund processed within 7 business days
  • ✅ You will be notified via email at least 48 hours in advance (when possible)

4.2 Technical Issues from Our End

If you cannot access the course due to technical problems on our side:

  • STEP 1: Report immediately to info@sbrostech.com
  • STEP 2: We will attempt to resolve within 48 hours
  • STEP 3: If unresolved, you will be offered:
    • Full refund, OR
    • Course credit for future enrollment, OR
    • Extension of access period

4.3 Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you accidentally paid twice or paid for the wrong course:

  • Contact us immediately with both transaction IDs
  • Duplicate amount will be refunded in full within 5-7 business days
  • For wrong course enrollment, contact within 24 hours for course swap or refund

5. Course Transfer and Rescheduling

5.1 Transfer to Another Batch (Same Course)

  • Allowed once per enrollment
  • Request must be made at least 3 days before your current batch starts
  • Subject to seat availability in the requested batch
  • No additional charges for same course transfer
  • Email info@sbrostech.com to request

5.2 Transfer to Different Course

  • Allowed within 7 days of payment (before course starts)
  • If new course is more expensive: Pay the difference
  • If new course is cheaper: No refund of the difference (credit note issued)
  • Subject to approval by our team
  • Processing fee: ₹500 may apply

6. Payment Gateway Charges

Important information about refund deductions:

Refunds are subject to deduction of payment gateway processing charges incurred during the original transaction:

  • Razorpay processing fee: Approximately 2-3% of transaction amount
  • These charges are non-refundable as they have already been paid to the payment gateway

Example:

Course Fee: ₹15,000
Gateway Charges: ₹300-450
Refund Amount: ₹14,550-14,700

7. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds based on:

  • ❌ Percentage of course completed or consumed
  • ❌ Number of classes attended vs. total classes
  • ❌ Amount of content accessed or downloaded
  • ❌ Number of days/weeks remaining in the course

Important: Once a course starts, no refunds are provided regardless of usage or attendance, unless covered under Special Circumstances (Section 4).

8. Promotional and Discounted Courses

  • Courses purchased at promotional, discounted, or special offer rates follow the same refund policy
  • Refund amount is calculated on the actual amount paid, not the original price
  • Promotional codes, coupons, or discount vouchers cannot be reused after a refund
  • Bundle offers: If you purchased a course bundle and request refund for one course, bundle discount may be recalculated

9. Medical or Emergency Situations

We understand that emergencies happen. In case of genuine medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances:

  • Contact us at info@sbrostech.com with supporting documents
  • We may offer course transfer to a future batch instead of refund
  • Or provide extended access to recorded content
  • Each case will be evaluated individually

10. Refund Tracking and Status

To check the status of your refund request:

  • Email info@sbrostech.com with your Order ID
  • You will receive email updates at each stage of the refund process
  • For bank credit timeline, please check with your bank after we confirm refund initiation

11. Exceptions and Management Discretion

While we adhere to this policy strictly, SBros Tech Pvt Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Make exceptions in extraordinary or exceptional circumstances
  • Evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis
  • Offer course credits, vouchers, or alternative compensation instead of monetary refunds
  • Modify this policy with notice

All refund decisions made by SBros Tech Pvt Ltd management are final and binding.
